The Directors and Officers of the Society for 2012-2013 are as follows:

- To develop, promote and maintain best practices for sustaining productive creeks, watersheds and wetlands
- To protect, promote and facilitate the restoration of local fish and other aquatic stocks
- To foster and coordinate environmental stewardship among public, corporate and private stakeholders
- To liaise with governments and stakeholders to assist in the development and enforcement of laws, bylaws and other regulations
Do your part:
Prevent harmful substances from entering any creek:
Maintain natural stream conditions:
- Remind contractors working on your home and in your neighbourhood that storm drains empty into creeks
- Participate in storm drain marking programs - the "yellow fish" is a reminder that storm drains flow into fish-bearing creeks
- Warn others against putting harmful liquids into the creeks and storm drains, such as cleaning compounds, detergents, oils, paints, pool and hot tub water
- Remove man-made litter from stream banks and beds
- Leave natural material undisturbed
- Respect fish and other wildlife
- Remove invasive plant species
- Plant and encourage native species of shrubs and trees near creeks
