Another Great Year for the Nelson Creek Hatchery!

Another successful year of fish rearing has been completed! Grateful thanks to our DFO team led by Gill Steele and many dedicated volunteers –egg-takers, fish feeders, fin clippers and fry releasers who gave their time between October and July. Thanks also to creek neighbours who allowed us access for fry releases and gathered folks from the neighbourhood to assist. Special thanks go to Mike Perley who headed up the  April chum release and Cam Bailey who arranged for 2 cub scout visits during the year.
